I know that several book bloggers get their books from NetGalley. I hesitated before I decided to give it a try in March, requesting Spirit Dances by C.E Murphy and Sorcery and Steam by Cindy Spencer Pape. I read the books, and enjoyed them, but then I sat down to review them. It was a struggle and I had to force myself to review them. That feeling ruined the joy for reviewing for a long time. That feeling combined the fact that I want to support the authors I review made me decide to avoid NetGalley. So I get my books from the library, or buy them, or I download ebooks that offered by publishers or authors.
A little bit more expensive, but it is much easier to review them.

I tend to agree with you at times. I do use Netgalley, but I've lately decided not to accept books for review (at least not for a little while). I'm not sure if it'll be a permanent thing for me.
But, I find that if I am accepting things for review (and sometimes if I get stuff from Netgalley) that I pick out books I would normally never read and they are OK, but not anything that I could have lived without reading. It also takes away from my huge to-read pile of books I REALLY want to read. So yeah, I'm with you.
Plus, I have an EXCELLENT library system so I really don't have to buy too many books (unless I want to re-read them) so it's not a money issue for me.
On a side note, I found that you've got to do what works for you. Just because everyone else accepts books for review or uses netgalley, or participates in certain memes, or whatever, doesn't mean it works for you. If you're not blogging for you, and reading for you, then it will not be enjoyable anymore. :)
